Veganuary: The Ultimate Skincare Guide.

The month of January is upon us, and with it comes a lot of change. A new year, a fresh start, and for some of us, a taster of the vegan life. Last year, over 629,000 people signed up to take part in the meat and animal byproduct free challenge, proving once again that many of us are looking at how they can make more ethical, health and planet conscious decisions when it comes to your diet.

But what about skincare? Many people are unaware that some of their favourite skincare products do not pass the vegan friendly test. Animal byproducts, such as beeswax and lanolin often appear in the ingredients list of cleanser, moisturisers and lipbalms, which is not great news if you're wanting to stick to a vegan lifestyle.

Luckily for you, we've rounded up some of our favourite 100% vegan friendly products that you will absolutely love. Read on to find your new favourite...

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid

Restoring your skin's barrier is one of the basics of skincare, and hyaluronic acid is great place to start. It helps to lock in the skin's moisture and assists with plumping and hydrating your face, helping to ease dryness. We love The Ordinary's - a little goes a long way, and it leaves your skin feeling super nourished.

Biossance Squalene and Probiotic Gel Moisturiser

Locking in the hydration with a trusty moisturiser is essential and we love this one from Biossance. It's designed to soothe redness and irritation prone skin, helping to even out skin tone and nourish the skin. We love the fact that this is a gel formula - it's perfect to wear under makeup and doesn't leave a heavy film feeling on the skin.
