Thankfully, we've put together our ultimate vegan haircare routine. From start to finish, we've got your locks covered- trust us, these recommendations will have your hair looking and feeling a million dollars...

STEP 1: SHAMPOO

Of course we had to start off with our vegan shampoo bars. Formulated with salon quality ingredients, our Daily Shine bar is the perfect way to not only wash, but treat, those locks of yours. They are 100% plastic free too, meaning you can save on those wasteful plastic bottles (bottled shampoo is made of 75-85% water, too BTW). Trust us, your hair will be forever thankful.

STEP 2: CONDITIONER

Bleach London Reincarnation Mask- £7.50

Okay, we're obsessed with Bleach London. After the success of their OG Dalston salon, they launched their own hair care brand 2013 with specialist hair care needs in mind. Our personal fave is their deep conditioning mask, which is designed for bleached, dried out and damaged locks. Just rub a 10p sized amount through the ends of your hair and leave for ten mins before washing out- it will leave your hair SUPER nourished and smelling great. 

STEP 3: BRUSH

So Eco Biodegradable Detangling Brush- £9

Keeping your hair detangled is an essential part of keeping it healthy- but, you've got to make sure the brush isn't causing any breakage to the hair shaft itself. Eco Brushes has created this vegan detangling brush which has a soft cushion to prevent any irritation to the scalp. It is also made from fully biodegradable materials, meaning it's 100% plastic free and contains no toxic ingredients- YAY.

STEP 4: MOUSSE

Umberto Giannini Curl Whip Curl Activating Mousse- £7.25

For anyone with curly locks, you'll know that this is an essential step in your hair routine and Umberto Giannini are the experts when it comes to looking after curly hair. This hair mousse is essential for reactivating those locks into their natural curl pattern- simply scrunch a golf ball sized amount into damp locks and dry as usual. The formula is super lightweight, meaning no crunchiness and your curls will look super bouncy and defined.

STEP 5: HEAT PROTECTION

The Hair Lab by Mark Hill Heat Protection Spray- £6.66

If you're fond of a straightener or curler, you'll know that using a good heat protection spray is essential. This one by Mark Hill's Hair Lab is made with 100% natural essential oils and organic Moroccan argan oil, plus it's also cruelty free. Simply spray onto towel dried hair, and get drying and styling.

STEP 6: SERUM

Evolve Beauty Nourishing Hair Elixir- £16

Hair serum is a great addition to your haircare routine that can help add that extra moisture and shine to your locks. This one from Evolve Beauty is made with Moroccan oil, Baobab oil and Tahitian Monoi, which are rich in anti-oxidants and help protect your hair from environmental damage. This is a great product if you suffer from frizz or flyaways- it'll leave your hair glossy AF, without costing the planet.

STEP 7: HAIRSPRAY

OUAI Volumizing Hair Spray- £22

Post-styling requires that special product to keep your hair in place. We love OUAI's volumizing hair spray- it keeps your locks in place, all while adding some texture and added oomph to your hair. It contains Vitamin E, which adds nourishment to the hair, plus it's also cruelty free and free of parabens- that's what we love to hear.

STEP 8: DRY SHAMPOO

Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Joia Dry Shampoo- £14

Keeping those roots refreshed with a dry shampoo is much easier than a full hair wash and it's even better when it smells like a tropical holiday. Sol de Janeiro's vegan dry shampoo is a great way to volumising your locks, all whilst helping them to feel revitalised and fresh AF. This is our go to when we want hair that looks- and smells- INSANE.
